Succor Table

My wife and I designed this side table by looking at our favourite pieces and combining different ideas.  The table has three legs to give it inherent stability.  The secondary shelf was added to allow storage for coasters or a book.  The top is beveled and the legs are splayed to create a feel of airiness and space: a hallmark of mid-century design.

The table is built using template routing and a special circle cutting jig that I designed.  This greatly reduces build time and costs.  This particular piece is done in walnut but the wood and size of the table tops are easy to vary at the customer’s request.
